The website What’s the matter?! provides information on the role of women in society, gender, gender stereotypes, discrimination, feminism, sexism, and violence against women. It is here to help you understand the connections between the various topics and to give a holistic picture of what is happening to you and around you in society. It's here for young people, girls, boys and adults, and its goal is to explain important things and thus help us all live together better
The name of the project is based on the question you get when you are not behaving the way someone else imagines you should, and also on the question that someone close to you asks when they want to know what you are going through, what makes you angry and what bothers you. Its based on the question we often answer "nothing" to because we can't name a bunch of our feelings or problems. The website What’s the matter?! is a place where you can find some answers.
The website What’s the matter?! was created as part of the demand-oriented project "Critical Thinking Against Discrimination", which is implemented by the Harvart School of Experiences NGO over the years 2019 - 2021.
This project is implemented thanks to the support from the European Social Fund and the European Regional Development Fund under the Operational Program Human Resources. ITMS2014 +: 312041T255.
V rámci projektu „Kritickým myslením proti diskriminácii“ sa konali audiovizuálne prednášky pre študentky a študentov. Spätná väzba na tieto podujatia ukázala, že prednášky v publiku neraz vyvolali vlnu záujmu či zvedavosť a chuť diskutovať o problémoch súvisiacich s rodovou rovnosťou a o rôznych formách diskriminácie.
Metodika nadväzuje na audiovizuálne prednášky a poskytuje pedagogickej verejnosti nástroj na podnietenie kritickej reflexie u študentov a študentiek, a tým prehĺbuje ich poznanie o základných témach rodovej rovnosti a rôznych formách diskriminácie. V rámci metodiky sa detailne oboznámite s pojmami ako pohlavie a rod či sociálne a kultúrne formovaná mužská a ženská rola, ktoré tvoria základ pre pochopenie rodových nerovností v súkromnej aj verejnej sfére. Na tieto pojmy nadväzuje prehĺbenie vedomostí o rodových stereotypoch, o mýte krásy, feminizme, rovnosti na trhu práce, o sexuálnom a kybernetickom obťažovaní a o násilí na ženách, ktoré predstavujú nosné piliere pre vedenie diskusie na podnietenie kritického myslenia.
Web Čo ti je?! a metodika boli vypracované v rámci dopytovo orientovaného projektu „Kritickým myslením proti diskriminácii“, ktorý realizuje Škola zážitkov Harvart v období rokov 2019 až 2021.
